What should I send with my drawing set and project brief?

Include the drawing revision or any specification notes that affect finishes, patterns, substrate preparation, or access. The request form accepts a PDF, JPEG, PNG, or WebP drawing file.

What does the takeoff deliverable include?

The takeoff sets out measured floor areas and quantities by finish, the materials or product breakdown we can identify from the information supplied, sensible wastage allowances, and any visible preparation requirements. It also includes labour and a priced summary using the client rate you provide, plus clear assumptions and exclusions so you can review the number before using it in your tender.

What is the standard turnaround?

The standard expectation is a return within 48 hours of receiving a usable drawing set and the required project details. If information is missing or the set needs clarification, we will flag the question rather than quietly build an assumption into the number.

Can you take on a rush tender request?

Rush work is considered against current capacity and the tender deadline. Availability is confirmed before work starts, so a rush request is not an automatic guarantee of same-day or next-day delivery. Put the real deadline in the request form and select the rush option so we can give you an honest answer.

How are assumptions and missing information handled?

We record the assumptions that affect the takeoff, such as an unclear finish, a missing detail, a provisional area, or a preparation item that is not shown. We may ask a focused question before finalising the work; otherwise the uncertainty is called out in the deliverable with the relevant exclusion. That gives you a visible basis for checking the number with the client or main contractor.

A new drawing revision, changed trade scope, or material redesign needs a fresh review so the quantities, wastage, preparation, labour, and priced summary remain traceable. Who owns the rates, margin, and final bid?

You do. The contractor supplies the client rate in GBP per m² and remains responsible for rates, margin, commercial offer, and the final bid.
